Do you ever feel like you know just enough about Learn To Draw to be dangerous? Let’s see if we can fill in some of the gaps with the latest info from Learn To Draw experts.
Fairies are considered to be very whimsical and magical. They are usually depicted to be beautiful, delicate and mysterious. They also bring an aura with them that makes you feel as if you were in some enchanted forest. Although they are mythical creatures, a lot of artists love drawing them. If you want to learn to draw fairies, here are some things that you should consider and try.
Your Fairy Your Rules
Since fairies are mythical creatures, there is no fixed parameters in which you would be limited to in drawing them. All those beautiful fairy pictures, drawings and paintings you have seen are all products of their respective artists’ imagination. This is why, as an artist that wants to draw fairies, you would have all the power to do so.
All you need to do is imagine. Create a vision of your own fairy in your mind and this would be your guide. If you want your fairy to be a boy or girl, it all depends on you. However, for starters it is recommended that you start out with a female fairy, since this is the common.
The Traditional Fairy Look
Most of the time, fairies are depicted to be women in small sizes that have wings. They are also usually beautiful. They also glow at times or has a very colourful aura. They have the ability to fly. Their wings are most of the time depicted to be similar to a dragonfly’s, which is transparent and slender. However, in some other renditions, fairies are seen to have butterfly like colourful wings that matches their colourful clothes. Of course, there is also the ever present magic wand.
Sometimes the most important aspects of a subject are not immediately obvious. Keep reading to get the complete picture.
Basic Body Parts
Fairies have two major body parts. One would be the human like body, which is generally similar to a human’s figure. The second would be the wings. In some cases, artists add a little twist with their fairies. They do this by giving them pointed ears. Some would even make the head shape a little pointed too. It still depends on you whichever style you want to go for.
So basically, you would just have to draw a woman. Then, make her whimsical by adding a pair of wigs on her back. For the hair, you could either give her extremely long hair or extremely short hair with a pointed head. The hair color could also vary depending on your imagination. Almond shaped eyes are common among fairies too.
Clothing And Accessories
For clothing, your fairy can wear something that is close to nature, especially if the type of fairy that you want to draw is the kind that lives in the forest. Most fairies appear to be wearing a miniskirt that has asymmetrical edges. Their long slender legs are also prominent with their clothing. For accessories, you can draw a flower garland around their head of around their waist in a way that it would look like a belt hanging loosely. You can also add a pouch to their belt, just like the one where Tinkerbell keeps her fairy dust.
The Environment
For your fairy to appear more magical you should draw her in her environment. Again, this would depend on you. She can be playing in a pond, beside a flower or sitting at a rock. Whatever the environment is, make it appear magical and out of this world.

When you think about Learn Chinese, what do you think of first? Which aspects of Learn Chinese are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge.
I wanted to learn Chinese online and this is what I found. Well, before I found the cool lessons, I discovered first off there was a plethora of information available to learn about the Chinese culture. I dove into their rich history, the origin or their language, and where the language stood today in the western world. I was taken back by the results. Did you know the Chinese language is the most used language, second to English, used in the world? It is the most highly demanded language to learn, more so than Spanish. With eyes on the future, and the merging of the world economy, it is now a recommended second language. Who knew? More children in primary schools are being taught Chinese. More employers are paying to have their employees learn Chinese. More people are actively seeking out for their own personal goals, a way to learn Chinese. One of the best ways is to learn Chinese online.
So, where to start? Probably the easiest way to begin, is to explore your search engine’s offerings. One of the coolest sites was the Chinese character dictionary sites. Each intricate word with the explanation of what it means next to it. I spent a few hours caught up in this because, well, I suddenly thought I would like a tattoo of one of these characters?they were speaking to me. I could not decide on one, each one more significant to me than the other. Forget the moment when my ego kicked in boasting I could be a Chinese character artist. I quickly put that idea to rest. Of the other helpful sites, was the one offering Chinese character software in animation. It just looked easy and user friendly (maybe I could be a rising artist). Among the sites, there were games and flash cards incorporated into the learning process, designed for people just like me who need that little extra flair to keep their attention. But if you are really feeling your china, you can embark on one of the many schools in China offered online.
If your Learn Chinese facts are out-of-date, how will that affect your actions and decisions? Make certain you don’t let important Learn Chinese information slip by you.
These schools range from one month to one year, inviting you to throw yourself into the culture while learning the language. I was amazed by all the schools offered to teach you Chinese. I found sites offering to help you learn Chinese online for as little as ten dollars a year. Not only can you learn Chinese online, you can learn other aspects of the language, like ancient poetry. The internet offers so much in information on this rich culture, plan to spend an afternoon or evening researching your options. If you are curious about the eastern culture, you will be amassed with opportunities to continue that passion further.
Whatever your focus or reason is to further your life with the addition of a second language, you can learn Chinese online. In the privacy of your own home. Or connect further with the available classrooms offered online to experience the language applied in real world applications. Remember, the demand for the Chinese language is stronger than ever, and the future looks absolutely necessary for the skill. Anything you do to improve your odds in your career objectives, such as learning Chinese, will make you a strong asset to your employer. If your reasons are more personal, like mine, well, maybe you are the next rising artist.
Now you can understand why there’s a growing interest in Learn Chinese. When people start looking for more information about Learn Chinese, you’ll be in a position to meet their needs.

If you’re seriously interested in knowing about Hockey, you need to think beyond the basics. This informative article takes a closer look at things you need to know about Hockey.
Women’s hockey has made a place for itself in the last twenty years. It has become an accepted and well-played sport in a number of countries, from the US and Canada to Europe and down to Australia. The first women’s international hockey tournament was in the year 1916 in Ohio, between teams from Canada and the United States. This continued through the years until the middle 1970s when Europe and Korea, Japan, and China started participating in international hockey tournaments. A number of women’s teams at various levels tour other countries, with teams of teenage girls playing a number of exhibition games in Switzerland, Australia, and other locations. National teams at the professional level also gain experience and publicity by doing hockey exchanges, often organized by USA Hockey. The US Women’s Select Team has done tours to Finland, Sweden, China, etc.
Women’s hockey is earmarked by fast skating, remarkable stickhandling, swift passing, good puck protection, accurate shooting, and quick goaltending. It is exciting hockey, and cleanly demonstrates the pure principles of hockey. In the 1990s there was some dispute whether bodychecking should be allowed in the international championships for women’s hockey. It had been disallowed in both the US and Canada in order for the size difference to become less of an issue, so that smaller or younger players would not be overpowered physically, and be able to use their skills. Europe allows it, and bodychecking would also let the European teams slow down the faster skating US and Canadian players.
Since the early 1970s, the American Girls Hockey Association has lobbied to have women’s ice hockey included as an Olympic event. There were many discussions on the issue, due to several real problems. The first was the difference between European and American rules, such as the bodychecking rule above. Another was the worry that the different countries did not have enough participants in women’s ice hockey, that the same few teams would not have enough depth to give really exciting games. Finally, women’s ice hockey was accepted as an Olympic event for the 1998 Olympics.
Once you begin to move beyond basic background information, you begin to realize that there’s more to Hockey than you may have first thought.
How does a girl become a good enough ice hockey player to try out for a national team? The first step for a number of young women is to play minor hockey on a boy’s team. In many novice or peewee leagues, girls are more coordinated than boys of the same age and do quite well on the teams. Another possibility is to have one or two all girls teams and have them play exhibition games until they gain enough experience to join the boy’s hockey league in the area. Girls that live in large cities, especially large northern cities, may have a well established girl’s hockey association ready to recruit and train anyone interested in playing.
Two of the “old stars” of women’s hockey never played on real teams as they were growing up. Shirley Cameron of Canada grew up on a farm, and just skated and played hockey with her brothers on frozen marshes around her farm. Judy Diduck skated but did not start actual ice hockey until she was 19 years old. She became a four time gold medallist with Team Canada.
Women’s hockey is an exciting and skillful game that is both interesting to watch and exciting to participate in.
Now that wasn’t hard at all, was it? And you’ve earned a wealth of knowledge, just from taking some time to study an expert’s word on Hockey.

Birding, if you haven’t heard the term yet is actually a term used interchangeably with bird watching. At times, however, birding is used to describe a method of bird watching where bird sounds are used to call and help spot birds. In Shakespearean literature, birding is synonymous with bird hunting. Now, there’s one more term that you might have encountered in this field, and that’s ?twitcher?. A twitcher is someone that goes out of his way, often traveling long distances just to get a chance to see rare species of birds. Whether you are a bird watcher or twitcher, there’s one thing that’s certain, you got to love bird watching.
The history of bird watching is not as pretty as you might think. Early bird watchers like Gilbert White, George Montagu, John Clare, and many others did began observing birds for aesthetics and for scientific studies and research. However, during the Victorian Era, there was a clamor for collecting bird eggs and bird skins. This could have led to unnecessary bird hunting. For centuries, birds were shot and mounted to be studied and displayed. Eventually, humans came to their senses and calls for stricter bird protection policies became a sort of movement before the turn of the 1900s.
Today, bird watching involves the use of binoculars, photography gears, and even drawing and painting equipment. The practice is also not limited to scientists and the like who observe birds in their natural habitat to get precise documentations of different species. Bird watching has trickled down to the laymen who watch birds to have a change to get to enjoy nature, first and foremost.
Birds watching groups have made the practice even more popular. Groups will often organize a weekly trip to different spots where they can get a glimpse of different kinds of birds in their natural environment. The existence of a number bird watching guides and related publications is a sort of testimony on the popularity of this hobby.
Sometimes the most important aspects of a subject are not immediately obvious. Keep reading to get the complete picture.
Some other reasons why this particular hobby began to be popular is the access to the tools of the trade. When the Second World War was over, military binoculars became cheaply available to the public. As technologies progressed, so did the gear used for bird watching. From binoculars to spotting scopes and even audio equipment used for identifying bird calls and noises, some bird watchers have become gear obsessed. Photography and video equipment have become a major factor for this hobby as well. Specialized lenses that can capture birds from great distances have become a major concern.
The publication of several books on birds and bird watching instigated an interest in the hobby as well. Today, it seems bird watching remains to be a hobby preferred by only a few. Nevertheless, one study has found out that Americans for one are becoming more interested in bird watching.
There are even competitions or events on bird watching. Participants are often tasked to spot and identify as many birds as possible given a set time. The group or individual who gets the most number of properly identified birds win the contest.
However, the great outdoors is not for everyone. Some people will never appreciate the beauty of nature and the wilderness. But if you’re a nature lover, then definitely you will love birding.
I hope that reading the above information was both enjoyable and educational for you. Your learning process should be ongoing–the more you understand about any subject, the more you will be able to share with others.

If you are up on the world economy, then you will know that China is the fastest growing economy in the world. In fact, the Chinese language is becoming so commonly used in business, the demand for resources teaching the Chinese language has more than tripled in the last half decade. Furthermore, if you check out the curriculum being offered in primary and secondary schools, you will see the Chinese language offered as a course. Looking up ahead in to the future, it is estimated that a command of the Chinese language will be ahead of the demand for Spanish. Half of Asia already speaks some form of Chinese, or incorporates styles of Chinese into their native language.
Why learn Chinese? Because today’s world almost insists on it. With our increasing love for the Chinese culture, like the martial arts, or media (Who can forget Jacki Chan), or even Chinese food?we are quickly merging cultures together today then we ever did in past. Great inspirations have come out of the eastern ways of life, and in a hungry way to consume them, and learn all about them, the need to learn Chinese has surfaced. The Chinese culture itself, represents a solidarity in balance, peacefulness, and serenity. In the western world, the fast paced, time pressed crunches have taken their toll, and now we actively seek solace from other cultures, who we think, hold the key. It is through understanding, learning and appreciation of other cultures in which we often find what we seek. To learn Chinese?whether it be the arts, the words, the ways, is often found tools to enrich our own daily lives and restore balance. Once again, by doing so, we are merging another culture’s layers and sewn them in as our own. The influence of the Chinese culture is undeniable.
Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Learn Chinese, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.
Why learn Chinese? Because you truly want to. You have the focus and goal to integrate the cultural know how for goals of your own. Perhaps for an upcoming trip to China, or a hobby, or maybe just for simple understanding of a new friend, whatever the reason behind the spark, know it will be more than beneficial for you to acquire this knowledge and skill. And exhilarating to learn. There is a sense of accomplishment behind learning Chinese, even if it’s not for a job in china, or you cannot take a vacation there?having the richness of absorbing another’s culture into your world view is a step to a better and higher understanding of life itself.
Learn Chinese to have an experience culturally. Learn Chinese for application in your job. Learn Chinese for knowledge, for wisdom and balance in your life. Learn Chinese to be ahead of everyone else in business and careers. Learn Chinese to step into the future now. Learn Chinese for your upcoming vacation to china. But mostly, learn Chinese for yourself. Because it is something you always wanted to do. The impact of eastern culture is growing everyday, and will continue as our ways and cultures merge.
That’s the latest from the Learn Chinese authorities. Once you’re familiar with these ideas, you’ll be ready to move to the next level.

The hand is faster than the eye and this is so true once you have mastered performing the vanishing magic trick with a coin. The key to this trick is the position of the coin and for this to work; you will need two of them.
The first you have to do is lay one coin in the palm of each hand. The coin on the left should be placed in the middle of the palm. The coin on the right should be near the thumb.
In one quick motion, you should flip both hands and then let it face down on the table. You must quickly move the coin on the right hand to the left without anyone noticing then twitch the right thumb a bit to deceive people into thinking that both coins are there.
You then ask the audience where the coins are. The deception you caused earlier will make many believe that the coins are on the right but when you open it, they are wrong because the two coins are both under your left hand which they will see when you open up your hand.
This trick can also be done with the opposite hand. You should just put one coin in the middle or your right palm and the other coin near your left thumb then repeat the instructions as mentioned before.
Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Magic Tricks, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.
Again, the key to this trick is the position of the coins. When you rotate your hands from palm up to down, the coin in the center stays put while the other shifts the coin to the other hand. You have to do this very quickly so the audience does not suspect what happens. If you don’t follow the proper positioning of both hands, one coin will flick away and your trick will fail.
One way to practice this trick is to imagine your hand is a table tennis paddle. If the coin is in the center of your palm, this will make sure that the coin will stay in the same place when it lands. As for the other, something different happens.
This helps you move the coin from one hand to the other so when you lift the hand containing the coin, people will see two and not one.
The speed at which the coin travels from one hand to the other varies. The more time you have to practice, the better so even when people ask how you do it, you simply say ?a magician never tells how he does his tricks.?
The vanishing magic trick using a coin is just one of many tricks you can do. There are also variations which you can learn and try out so those who watch you won’t feel bad always seeing the same thing. A lot of these can be found online while there are a few that are written down in books with pictures to guide you along the way.
When you are ready, try to do this with a friend first and see if you are successful. If it works, then perhaps it is time to try this out in the presence of strangers. In any magic trick, just remember that positioning is everything and this can only be achieved with patience and practice.

More and more studies show that majority of the children who are prone to developing kidney stones are those that suffer from underlying medical conditions which increases their risk of developing stones this early. For parents to understand how to deal with kidney stones in case their kids suffer from it, they must first understand everything about the condition. Having a broad understanding of the condition can help parents trace possible causes, identify symptoms, and give immediate response to the child in pain.
Kidney stones?just like in adults?has different types of stones which can either be “calcium oxalate” which is the most common and caused by too much presence of calcium in the urine, the “struvite stones,” “uric acid stones,” and “cystine stones.” These types vary depending on the levels of the minerals found and their characteristics.
Parents would never know if their children are suffering from kidney stones if they are not familiar with its symptoms such as abdominal or back pain, blood in the urine or hematuria, vomiting or nausea, and the often need to urinate. In younger kids, these symptoms cannot easily be recognized that is why there is a need to undergo laboratory evaluation and tests. Since kidney stones is not common among children, especially to younger ones, it is a must to identify the risk factors present such as:
1. History of the kidney stones. If the family has history on this disease, it is likely that children will become more prone to the condition in the future. Studies show that kids who have history of kidney stones are likely to suffer from the same problem in the next 10 to 20 years of his or her life.
You can see that there’s practical value in learning more about Kidney Stones. Can you think of ways to apply what’s been covered so far?
2. Low fluid?especially water?intake. If the child exhibits this habit, he or she is prone to kidney stones because it affects the ideal amount of urine that should be released daily. It should always be remembered that if there were lesser water or fluid intake, the chances of developing kidney stones are much higher because there will be more concentration of substances that leads to faster kidney stone formation.
3. Diet and amount of food intake. This especially those high in animal protein such as beef, pork, lamb, or chicken are likely to develop kidney stones because they have higher concentration of protein which is one of the primary causes of kidney stones. Many experts believe that children who consume too much protein are at risk in developing “calcium oxalate stones” along with problems in terms of intestinal absorption.
Other symptoms to look out for include experience in cystic fibrosis, suffering from urinary tract abnormalities like dysfunction of the bladder or the kidneys, some inherited disorders from the parents, and undergoing medications such as “furosemide,” “allopurinol,” and “acetazolamide” which are known to promote formation of urine crystals that leads to the formation of kidney stones.
Experts say that before, children are lesser prone to kidney stones because they are healthier and more physically active. But, over the years, there has been a constant increase in the number of children that are being affected by kidney stones.
Maybe because more and more kids now are living sedentary lives by being in front of the computer or by eating foods that are high in protein, calcium, and sodium.
There’s a lot to understand about Kidney Stones. We were able to provide you with some of the facts above, but there is still plenty more to write about in subsequent articles.
